Thaddeus Stevens School
National and Global Travel Opportunities
Part of our mission is to engage students with the diverse world in which we live. We offer travel to three different major US cities as part of our program, as well as an exchange program with our partner school in Hamburg, Germany.
School Trips
Fifth and sixth grade students travel to Boston for an overnight, visiting historic and cultural sights.
Seventh and eighth grade students travel to New York City and Washington, DC in alternate years. The multi-day itinerary is jam-packed with visits to museums, historical locations, and urban neighborhoods.
German Exchange Program
In partnership with the Moderne Schule in Hamburg, Germany, seventh and eighth grade students travel to Hamburg, staying with host families and participating in school. In return, those students visit Thaddeus Stevens School and become part of our school community while they are here.
