GERMAN EXCHANGE PROGRAM

We conduct an exchange program with our partner school, the Moderne Schule in Hamburg, Germany. Starting in fifth grade, students at TSS are partnered with students at Moderne Schule, and they exchange letters and Skype. This relationship continues through the years, culminating with a travel exchange. Eighth grade Thaddeus Stevens School students travel to Hamburg in the fall, and Moderne Schule students travel to Vermont in the spring.

Through this partnership, our students gain experience in international cooperation. Students organize events, joint projects and other activities with their partners. The common goal is to deepen their knowledge about each other’s culture and their global experience.
